Clarence Cormier Mr.Cormier has had a long and distinguished political career in the Province of New Brunswick during which he served as Minister of Education, Member of the Legislative Assembly and Mayor of Dieppe. Mr.Cormier sits on the boards of numerous educational, professional and service clubs; he is member of the Board of Governors of the University of Moncton, Member of the Board of Management of the Memramcook Institute, Executive Member of the Catholic Archdiocese of Moncton, Founding Member of the Dieppe Rotary Club and Founding President of the Optimist Club of Dieppe. He is a Former Board Member of the National Parole Board of Canada. Mr.Cormier was recipient of the Golden Jubilee medal from Her Majesty the Queen in recognition of his lifelong commitment to community services. |

ashley deans, ph.d. Dr. Deans is a quantum physicist, lifelong educator, and director of the award-winning Maharishi School (K–12) in Fairfield, Iowa, where students and teachers practice the Transcendental Meditation technique as part of its “Consciousness-Based” curriculum. The school graduates ten times the national average of National Merit Scholar Finalists, has seen 95% of graduates accepted at four-year colleges, and has had grades 10–12 consistently score in the top 1% of the nation on standardized tests of educational development. The school has no entrance exams and offers open enrollment, accepting students from a wide diversity of backgrounds. |

Guy-Paul GagnÉ MD FRCSC Dr Gagné is Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at LaSalle General Hospital in Montreal. He is Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University and Coordinator of the Teaching and Continuous Medical Education Program in LaSalle. Dr Gagné is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr Gagné is an expert in the health benefits of the Transcendental Meditation technique for children and adults. |

Michael Beresford, Director, Greater Vancouver Stress-Free Schools Committee Michael Beresford is the President and Founder of Moor Spa Inc. based in Vancouver, Canada, one of only a few 100% natural-source lines of skin-care, body-care and wellness products for the spa industry. An inventive entrepreneur who has lectured extensively in his field around the world, developed cost-effective spa systems and created an innovative digital label printing system for custom branding of spa products, Michael’s own experience with the TM program and as a father have led him to work for the implementation of Consciousness-Based Education in lower mainland schools. |

Erica Reznick, PH.D., R. PSYCH Dr. Erica Reznick is a Clinical Psychologist and Collaborative Law Divorce Coach in private practice in West Vancouver. She has worked with individuals, couples and families in general practice for over 15 years. While drawing from a wide range of therapeutic modalities, Erica approaches her work holistically, addressing the cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual dynamics of change and experience. She is also a writer and director of the Garbha Institute, formerly known as the Diamond Heart Foundation. Her areas of interest and dedication include spiritual psychology, separation, divorce and remarriage, emotional intelligence training and consciousness based education. |

George H. Rutherford, Ph.D. Dr. Rutherford served for 30 years as the Principal of the Fletcher-Johnson Educational Center (K–8) in Washington, D.C., where he introduced the Transcendental Meditation technique to hundreds of students and teachers as part of the school’s “quiet time.” He is currently Principal of the Ideal Academy Public Charter School (K–8) in the Washington, D.C., where a two-year research study is under way on the effects of the TM program on student stress, behavior, and academic performance. Sarina Grosswald, Ed.D. Dr. Grosswald is an expert in cognitive learning; President of SJ Grosswald & Associates, a consulting firm in medical education in Arlington, Virginia; and Director of Continuing Medical Education for the American Medical Women’s Association. She is also Project Director for a major research study now under way on the effects of the Transcendental Meditation program on ADHD and other learning disorders.
